Brent Vallis completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree at Memorial University in 2003, and graduated from law school at the University of Toronto in 2008.  During his time at U of T, Brent served as a Representative on the Students’ Law Society and was involved in various volunteer initiatives.  Brent was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2009.

Brent joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan in 2012.  Prior to this Brent worked as an associate at Halfnight & McKinlay PC, a small law firm specialized in insurance matters.  Brent also articled and worked as an associate at a major Bay street firm, where his practice consisted of medical malpractice and general civil and commercial litigation.  Brent has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims court for both trials and interlocutory matters. 

Brent is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates’ Society and the Canadian Defence Lawyers.
