Karina graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Science in 2005 and received her Bachelor of Laws in 2008 from the University of Windsor. She joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP as an associate in 2012 after working in an insurance defence boutique in downtown Toronto.

Since Karina’s call to the bar in 2009, she has worked exclusively in personal injury and insurance defence litigation.  Karina enjoys a broad insurance defence practice including accident benefits, loss transfer, priority, bodily injury, property damage and occupier’s liability.  She has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice before Judges and Masters, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Small Claims Court.

Karina is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
