Brian graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in human biology in 2002. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2005, articled with Siskind Cromarty Ivey & Dowler LLP in London, Ontario and was called to the Bar in 2006.

Brian joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP as an associate in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Brian practiced insurance defence (property), plaintiff personal injury and commercial litigation at a downtown law firm.

Brian has a varied insurance defence practice that encompasses tort, accident benefits, priority disputes between insurers, property defence and subrogation.  He has appeared on behalf of clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Brian is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, The Advocates’ Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
