Renata Bronshtein

Renata obtained her LL.B. from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law in 2003. She was called to the Ontario Bar in July 2004. In the summer of 2006 Renata completed the Osgoode Hall Law School Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop.

Prior to joining Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP in 2007, Renata practiced exclusively in the area of property and casualty insurance as in-house defence counsel for TD Meloche Monnex Group, previously Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Renata is experienced in handling all aspects of first and third party defence litigation, as well as subrogated claims. She has conducted numerous pre-hearings, pre-trials, and mediations and has assisted senior counsel with conducting trials and arbitrations before the Ontario courts and the Financial Services Commission.

Her in-house experience has enabled Renata to better understand the needs of property and casualty insurers and the value of cost-effective litigation solutions.

Renata’s practice is now primarily dedicated to the defence of property and casualty tort claims, loss transfers and subrogated matters.
