Lisa D. Trabucco
Lisa earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University in 1986, and worked as a journalist for the St. Catharines Standard as a city, sports, lifestyles and entertainment reporter. She earned a law degree from the University of Windsor in 1991 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993. In 2002, Lisa obtained a Master of Laws degree specializing in Intellectual Property Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.
Lisa's practice focuses on insurance defence litigation. She has appeared before the Ontario and Federal Courts and administrative tribunals, and has extensive experience in both tort and accident benefits matters. She also has experience in intellectual property matters. She has been employed by a copyright collective governing the music industry and has acted as counsel in matters involving copyright, trade-mark and patent disputes.
Lisa teaches Litigation at Sheridan College, and an Intellectual Property course for the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
