David Dinner

David joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP upon his call to the Bar in 2003.

David graduated with his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2002. He went on to obtain his LL.M. in 2006 from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to that, he received two undergraduate degrees from the University of Ottawa — one in Philosophy in 1999, and one in General Arts in 1998. He also has his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

David is currently the editor of the CCH Ontario Accident Benefits Case Summaries and has developed an expertise in this area of auto insurance law.

The majority of David's practice focuses on defence of first party accident benefits claims, third party bodily injury claims, priority disputes and loss transfers. Recent decisions include the ING v. Chubb and Co-Operators v. Zurich private arbitration priority decisions.

David is also the Past Chair of the Young Lawyers' Division of the Ontario Bar Association.
